Ash Wednesday Service
February 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The most important event in history was the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We remember and celebrate Christ’s victory over sin and death every Easter. Easter is so important to the church that we have a period of time called Lent to prepare for it.
A special service of repentance where we write down our sins and nail them to the cross will be held Wednesday, February 26th, at 7:00 pm. The sins are then burned and used to make the mark of the cross that is traditional for worshipers to receive on Ash Wednesday. Many people find this to be one of the most meaningful services we do all year. Please plan to join us for this celebration of the grace and forgiveness of God.
