DESCRIPTION:The Wesleyan Covenant Association\, a traditionalist reform organization within the UMC to which our church belongs\, will be holding their annual Global Gathering on Saturday\, May 7. Our church will be a host site for the simulcast portion of this event. We invite those who wish to attend. Because we are hosting the event\, the first twelve participants from our church are free. There will be great speakers\, powerful worship music and it will be a wonderful opportunity to hear about what is going on in our denomination. To register\, simply call our church office or send us an email telling us you want to attend. \n

SUMMARY:Biblical Conflict Resolution Class
DESCRIPTION:We live in a very divided time. When we disagree\, we don’t know how to talk. Christians are called to be peacemakers and speakers of truth. We should be able to model how to have healthy conversations with those with whom we disagree. Yet we struggle just like everyone else. Larry Boyd\, the Lay leader of our church\, will be leading a class called “Biblical Conflict Resolution” . It will help us learn how to communicate with others in positive ways. It will take place on two consecutive Sundays\, May 15 and May 22 at 9:30 am replacing the Bible Hour Class.  Join us as we learn to talk and listen better.
