SUMMARY:River of Life Mission Dinner
DESCRIPTION:The third Thursday of every month we prepare and serve food for the Boise Rescue Mission.  Come join us at 5:00 pm or 6:30 pm in serving the homeless.  We also take homemade baked goods for the shelter.  If you’d like to contribute with baked goods\, drop them off at the church by noon on the third Thursday. \nIf you want to support this cause\, you can give to it by writing a check to the church and marking it River of Life. \n

DESCRIPTION:OVER 1\,500 PRAYER SHAWLS GIVEN OUT — PRAISE GOD!!! \nHand make items from yarn to bring comfort to those who are hurting and remind them of God’s grace and love. Knit and crochet shawls\, lap robes\, scarves\, and small pocket prayers that are available for the congregation to give away. We also makes hats\, booties and tiny blankets for premature babies at the local hospitals. \nThe group meets every Wednesday in the Narthex (the hallway outside of the sanctuary) from 10-11:30 am. Following the meeting\, some of the group go to Idaho Pizza in Eagle for lunch and a few of the husbands join them. The group has been blessed with donations and bins of yarn and patterns to choose from.
