SUMMARY:Special All Church Conference
DESCRIPTION:There will be a special all church conference on Sunday\, August 28 at 12:15pm (or asap after worship) in the sanctuary to vote on the matter of whether to authorize the exploration of disaffiliation from The United Methodist Church. District Superintendent Karen Hernandez will preside at the meeting in which all church members will have a voice and vote. \nNote that this meeting cannot result in disaffiliation. Rather a favorable vote (simple majority) at this meeting will allow our church to officially begin discernment regarding disaffiliation and will allow us to request specific information from the Annual Conference regarding the costs of potential disaffiliation.
